The 12 profiles

How you engage life and learning.

Your profile is two numbers — for example 1/3 or 5/2. The first comes from your Personality (conscious) Sun, the second from your Design (unconscious) Sun. Each number is a “line,” and the pair describes how you learn and how others tend to meet you.

The six lines

Every profile is built from two of these six archetypes.

Line 1 Investigator

needs a secure foundation; studies, researches, builds to bedrock. Insecurity until the ground is solid.

Line 2 Hermit

natural at withdrawing to develop, then called out to share. Projected; alternates retreat and emergence.

Line 3 Martyr

learns by trial and error; bonds and breaks bonds through direct experience. Resilient, experimental.

Line 4 Opportunist

relies on network and friendships; influence and opportunity move through relationships. Foundation line.

Line 5 Heretic

projected onto by others (people see a savior); brings practical, generalizable solutions. Reputation-sensitive.

Line 6 Role Model

lives in three phases (trial-and-error to ~30, withdrawal/observation to ~50, then living as a role model). Aims to embody.
